------Art path of Hunter's Valley

A torn

Anke Mellin (Germany)
Tower for watching beavers and birds

The first piece which I made for Kuetiorg refers to the landscape but also to a story. Some years ago rude farmers were fishing using electricity of strong accumulators. Every living creature died and collecting fishes was easy. The tower is supposed to be an observation station to prevent another disaster in nature. The second reason was the observation of the valley itself which`s slope is a Kindergarten for birds and many other animals. The lake is dominated by beavers who build dams and change the size and shape permanently. The tower leads to the far view, in opposite to the raft which is made for the near view onto nature. Both works are in visible distance and the construction is similar. Both objects are about spaces for body and soul, and about the intact nature in Estonia.
